Hi everybody, it's my first time to write about one of the best successful awesome and enjoyable trips

We hit the camp in alain near to the airport which I noticed its full of planes I mean empty of planes :p .. Anyway I reach the furth and found sarookh, capri, hani there in the camp point, and as usual chitchat game ;)

After few hours Hamdan lamboo mazaaj Khateeb bu Hamdan melfi bob falasi fadi join the camp, but the most amazing subject of how to find wood in Alain :D I will let this to explained by them ;)

In the morning Capri give briefing and order us to hit the challenge

So I will talk what happen to me when I start the challenge and hop the rest do the same coz it was solo drive and actions :p

At the beginning I drove normal way but after sertain destance the high dunes starts and the challenge begins, at the time I put the music full and said lets dieeeeeee yessssssss and speeding to reach the highest level that my car can reach and do the crusting , while I'm drive I said if anyone will follow my track he will sure will get stuck :028: , then I reach the check point safe, and contined to the next point , now the action when decided to do cristing from really big dune and got stuck on the peak then that moment my heart jumped coz I thuoght i will rollover but thanks god the car centered the all the wheels on the air , and I have to do self recovery , I start deging till the wheels tuch the sand then yessssss I did it self recovery and continued to the last point , we prayed then mandi then fighting with the sleepiness as u know after heavy meal what happens :s

Thanks everybody and Marshalls for such great trip , and gave us the trust and reading the dunes and release the panik ;)

See u in coming trips , and be safe ;)

Bob your report looks awesome too :060:

So, about the report...i joined the meeting point on Thursday night at around 21:45, set the Garmin to camp point and started driving, while going to camp I saw a fire camp and cars went in their direction and found Caprihorse, Strawb and Salhinai already there waiting for the rest of the group, ahhh no, actualy Caprihorse and Salhinai only Strawb was there earlier and went to Al Ain city to enjoy and good night sleep…:030:.

I then started unloading the wood I got with me and we found that the quantity will not last for the hole night so I decided to go for some wood conquest, I drove around and found some old signboards, electric board and pieces of wood here and there so I got the hole of it and drove back to camp. We had some food chitchats and I also seased the oportunity to sit with Caprihorse and learn more about how to use the Base Camp application (Thanks Capri I learned a lot specially about my Nuvi 205W limitatioins) around 23:30 Arminjune & Melfi where on the way to camp and were communicating via Almost channel, so we decided to have a bit of fun with them…..i used the radio and identify my self as Al Ain Police loooooooool :059: did not hear them again until they arrived to camp. Afterwards Bader and Bilal arrived to camp and Fadi too, but both went roaming around for sometime before they find us. Around 01:15 in the morning Handan, Lambo, Mazaaj, Alkhatib, Bu Salem, Omar, Bu Hamdan, Al Falasi…noap not Alfalasi he arrived after them after 30 M cause he went looking for the camp elsewhere…..:005: Hamdan prepared his famous Shai Karak had some and most of us went to sleep after some words and laughs exchange.

At around 8:00 everyone was packed and ready for the event, Capri and Shamsi did the briefing and soon after we started. For whom who doesn’t know about the trip, we were given 5 waypoint and we had to drive solo through all the points, distance was around 20 KM, 5 m interval between every driver.

I departed last and as I was alone, I can says the drive was amazing and had a very high dunes with very sharp and hard angels, really enjoyed it until point number 4 where I started filling some motion sickness due to disadratation when arrived to point number 4 Alkhatib, Se7eS77, Abu Jimmy and Shamsi was enjoying the good weather and view, they gave me some chocolate and drinks to overcome my dizziness and thanks guys it worked. Went on to the final point and arrive safely, Salem and Salhinai was there waiting. A piece of advice, mother nature is tuff and that is why we should always listen and implement the Marshls guideness and instruction for maximum safety and enjoyment.

When all done, we had some Mandi and tea and started preparing for the Back to the Dunes trip,

There was a lot of new and friendly face. We took off from Swaihan petrol station around 14:45 towards Al Badayer shops as planned but we could not make due to some delay, so we went to Al Faqaa area and exit from there. The drive was very nice and smooth no issue apart from one car (Pajero, sorry I don’t know the name of the member) who had mechanical problem near the exit.

All and all the trip was amazing and the experience was very strong, Thank you ALMOST 4X4 family to make that possible and accessible for everyone.

Special Thanks to all the Marshals, intermediate & Newbie drivers and a very special thanks to Caprihorse for the last 20 KM of the trip me and “The Girlfriend” like it very much.

A BIG apology for The Jackal for all the dust generated during the last 20 KM :015:as i really could not retain my self.

Thanks for reading and see you in the sand :048:
