[quote=Hiba;19867]... I was very scared in the beginning and then my passenger (fida) was constantly giving me all the advises. Like, slow down, ok floor now, stop stop, don't stop, don't break, break now, low gear, 2nd gear and endless other advices but then , I don't know what he is talking about ...

Wow, amaaaazing is an understatement. This was my first trip with the club, I was a bit nervous at first because I usually take a bit of time to socialise... but everyone was so friendly, they made me feel at home. The instructional demo in the begining was really good, the drive was amazing.
Although I have driven in the desert a bit before, this experience was completely different. I learnt a lot in this drive, Bu Salem came and told me not to fly, instead learn to feel the car and the dune. Very useful advice, helped me to have greater control and stability in the drive.
Thanks to all the marshals, advanced and intermediate drivers who were on hand for help and guided us well. The 3 crests that we manouvered over was very well managed with someone guarding/observing on both sides of the dune. Impressive.
The vehicles also made the rides well balanced.. apart from the usual FJs, Patrols and Jeeps, we had the very large like the Armada, F150 and Durango to the very small like the Vitara.. an experience in itself to watch these manouver.
On the whole, it was an amazing experience. Thank you everyone for making it perfect.

I really enjoyed this trip.....getting to know everyone and meeting them face to face and also learning how to fly i mean drive in the desert :005: but truly I learned that its better to get stuck 10 times and stay safe than to jump once and get injured! thanks guys.....hope to start seeing you more often

About time! Considering it is actually HER car... Hehehe, his fault for fully loading up someone else's car instead of getting his own and letting her drive earlier... :011:
Fida - you're welcome to invest in my car any time too :045:

This was my first drive with the group and it was AWESOME!!!
Everyone's friendly nature wiped away my nervous approach of taking a bit of time to socialize, all the members made me feel at home and as a family. The instructional demo in the beginning was really good.
Although I have driven in the desert a bit before (like a desert cowboy), this experience was completely different. I learnt a lot in this drive, valuable advise from Bu Salem – “ do not fly, instead learn to feel the car and the dune” was very useful that helped me to have greater control and stability in the drive.
Thanks to all the marshals who were there to help and guide us thru. The 3 crests that we maneuvered over was very well managed by the marshals - Impressive.
On the whole, it was an amazing experience. Thank you everyone for making it a perfect drive. I will definitely look out for more upcoming drives
