Hey Desert Lizard it's been a while :038:. Regarding the bullbar, the design you see on the above picture is the basic one, the one am custom making has the same shape but also contains a skid plate from the top primary bar until it join the default car skid plate and the bullbar sides will be approximately from lower part of the bumper until beneath it. all this will be made of 30 mm steel bars and fixed to the car chassis and here i want to point that if the bullbar is too strong the car chassis may be at risk and could damage it in case of a strong hit...so that is why i want the bullbar to provide a moderate amount of protection by being strong but not too strong, and that's my friend is the plan. As for the clearance, i currently have the GMC style of bar protections which is around 15 inch towards the front directions so point of view clearance i will actually be gaining around 10 to 12 Inch when installing this, wa allah a3lam.

lLooking at the picture you posted .
it's a prerunner bumper/skid plate setup... and with this setup you need to remove the front stock bumper

(same as what FIDA has on his FJ and MILAN on his Xterra)
You can google for prerunner bumper and you'll know what i mean.

Bro thanks for the feedback and the pictures, but if i do the above it means:

1-transforming the car to an extrem vehicle ( prerunner style)
2-I have to check RTA first if it is street legal otherwise the police will eat my brain and pocket.

Noble has fabricated someting on these same lines for his FJ ....check ou the pics on FB

I was following this subject for some time and now I cannot resist to share my own experience with bull bar. If anybody before my first installation would try to convince me, that I'm wrong, I would never believe. My bull bar had the life cycle for couple of months (newbie period) and the last version is durable for couple of years...

I wish i can do similar to what's in the pictures, but not easy to find someone in here who can do a good fabrication job in the uae.
