Hello Everyone
I missed driving in the desert for the last 4 weeks, so I was dying to return to the sand. Barish took us back to Nahel, which has a great balance of clean & medium dunes for practicing straight creating.
The weather was great too, which allowed the intermediates to practice rescuing under the marshals' supervision.
At the end of the drive to chill and watch the sunset, Thanks to Warrior12 for the Coffee & Tea.
Till next time, stay safe and keep the sand flying
Cheers
Shamsi

Dear Allmosters,
The Stars Track series is the hallmark of “The General” @Barish as he leads the development of our Newbies after their initial CM Drive. The weather was surprisingly pleasant after the intense heat the weekend before.
I arrived early and went for a bit of drive around the familiar area before the other drivers started to arrive. We ended up waiting for quite awhile as some of the Newbies straggled into the meeting point late. Please remember the stated meeting time is when you should plan to arrive – deflate and get ready for the briefing to enable the convoy to take off on time.
@Barish gave the briefing and informed of the challenges we would be presented with – working on the basics – don’t fight gravity, if you feel you do not have the momentum on an arch, take a lower line, don’t ever fight gravity! turn down. At straight crests momentum – not to fast (no flying) better to get crested and have another try rather than flying over the crest and damaging your car, or worse rolling over. Also don’t brake hard on the other side of the crest this can also cause a roll over.
It was great to have our Founder @alshamsi_m back to act as guardian angel floating around the convoy, observing the drivers and giving valuable advice to help the drivers with their learning experience.
I was positioned as 2nd lead, at one point a Newbie was so focused on staying with me that when the radio call came for all drivers to come out of their cars for some additional briefing by @alshamsi_m , the driver continued to follow me as I tried to duck off for a quick “technical” break
.
By the end of the driver, with a number of 2nd tries and crested situations the convoy made it safely to a nice spot near the exit to enjoy the sunset with some chit chat, coffee and Karak
Thanks to all the Advanced, Intermediates and Crew for supporting the Newbies as they begin their journey with Almost4x4

Hello All,
Stars Track was a lovely drive over the weekend with nice weather a the temperature was at 32 degrees. the drive went great and we completed the whole designated track as @Barish planned our team lead.
It was great to have the support of all the other crew including the co founder @alshamsi_m who kept guiding all the new CM drivers over the whole track. With special thanks to @brett being in the 2nd lead and @Ehab @bobpavan @piotr being the support team.
At the end of the drive we all gathered for special snacks and tea+coffee from Mr Shamsi while enjoying the nice weather just before the sunset. Had a great time overall and ended up with smiles on all the faces of the drivers.
Looking forward for the next drive.
Cheers,
Noman

After deflating and installing the newly acquired orange flag we had a breefing at the meeting point and started driving in convoy order led by Marshal @Barish. We had a nice educational drive thanks to the challenging lines our leader took (just the right amount of challenge). Our founder @Alshamsii was watching over the drive all the way and stepping in to correct and guide us in various situations, we even had one pop out and experienced how to fix it in the middle of nowhere. Thanks to all the advanced and intermediate drivers for their help and support in recoveries.
Before bailing out we took a break to enjoy the beautiful sunset, nice breezy weather and hot beverages
Great experience all in all

The drive was very well planned and the route which was selected was made sure will be suitable for every one as everyone was having vehicle of different capabilities. Specially when the popout occurred it was handled every calmly and explained the situation in details.
Thank you to the founder and the marshals on the drive for making it safe and yet entertaining for everyone.

Last week, I embarked on my first desert adventure, aptly named “Stars Tracks.” As a newbie, I was both excited and a bit nervous. Before this trip, I hadn’t realized that my car and I could handle such challenging terrain. Thanks to the clear instructions from Alshamsi, Barish, and the entire crew, I navigated the dunes with newfound confidence.
Despite it being my first drive, I learned valuable lessons:
• The importance of following existing paths.
• How to fix a pop-up.
• The right angle and speed to approach dunes.
• Descending a dune without damaging the car.
A heartfelt thank you to Alshamsi, Barish Brett , Bob , Ehab, Piotr and the rest of the crew for watching over all the drivers and ensuring our safety throughout the drive. Your guidance made all the difference.
A special thanks to Alshamsi for providing tea and coffee—it was a thoughtful touch that added warmth to the experience.

We all arrived at the meeting point and a few of the newbies were late where one of them had overshooted.
Thank you for @S.ALSHAMSI for guiding us on the way as an angel and correcting what each one of us were doing. there were multiple crusting and a cherry on top with a pop out
At the end of the trip, we stopped to enjoy karak, coffee and some dates
It was a great learning session arranged by the team and Barish to have it arranged, we really enjoyed it and looking forward for more drives together

Hello everyone,
We have completed another Almost4x4 traditional training drive for fresh 5- Newbies right after CM accompanied by our 5- Oldbies.
Nahil is a very proper driving area introducing several challenges supported by several terrains. We have trained through arches, straight crests and did a big step on how to drive in a convoy. We had the chance to sit and chill with a nice
weather with a beautiful sunset scenery.
Now its time to experience different things in your new level and enjoy your journey in Almost4x4.
Dont forget; you can never change unless you do not improve.
See you next time.

Driving with Almost 4x4 in CM convoy last week and in newbie convoy on 12.04, was as much fun as
on the dunes. Totally appreciate the disciplines they enforce and the camaraderie, during the drive. Being a newbie I could entrust myself to their care and leading, all throughout the drive.
Briefings , deflating , traction control off , radio checks, and the convoy set off to practical lesson time.
Navigating the vertical cross , arches and keeping the lines , pop out fixing , simple recoveries , ‘what to’ and the ‘how to’ and ‘why not to’ …. All , so well covered by marshals and rescue team. Special thanks to route selection. And the Arabic coffee , Karak and dates.
Big thanks to God for keeping us all safe , giving us a beautiful weather, the dunes and a 4x4…
God Willing catch you all in the next drive , God Bless
