All Newbies In: Back to Basics
We had another wonderful drive day, but this time, we were joined by the CM. Watching the excitement in the eyes of the new joiners reminded me of my own CM drive back in November 2024. I still remember how I couldn't sleep the night before or after—it was such a lovely day.
Our meeting point, was named "melting point"
due to the nearly 45°C heat, was made cooler by the warm welcome from all the marshals, advanced, and intermediate drivers. A special mention goes to the ever-welcoming Mostafa, who always adds his personal touch with tea, coffee, dates, and of course, chilled water.
@Scorpio welcomed us all, and after a briefing, we split into groups. The CM drove alone, while we had two marshals, Solamz and Abu Baker. After some chit-chat, we were splited, with the ladies under @Solmaz wing and the rest of us under @Mabubakr muscles. Abu Baker was supported by the flying superman @Ehab and the very calm sweeper Peter.
The drive was very enjoyable, with some challenges to maintain momentum, but it was manageable with the team's support.
At the end of the drive, we enjoyed a panoramic view with some drops, meeting the entire team again at Nogra dune. Then we wrapped up the drive and safely returned to the exit point.
This drive was also joined by Dubai TV, and we had some fun with them. Hopefully, I will become famous and start getting calls for interviews and autographs!

This day was really big event..a good number of new drivers with new cars experiencing their first drive in the desert with a 12 or 13 drivers with less than 10 drives all with most of the group marshals,advanced,intermediate and one of the group founders gathered with a team from dubai tv . Starting the brief marshal @Scorpio explaining all the important point to drive in the sand ..then we where divided into 4 convoys 2 new and 2 less than 10 ...My luck came with marshal @Solmaz with here usual smile we started the trip in safari style
taking new heights examining new level of climbing and going down....Unfortunately forgetting my flage caused me the last place in the convoy, new experience of surviving
...The sand was hot
so it was challenging with afew second tries...At the end of the trip we all 4 convoys gathered in front of El Nagra dune for a group photo ,some karak and water ...
Watching all the cars going out together was amazing....with so many cars ....
Finally we missed our founder @A alshamsi and his important notes ...
Thank you all group for the unforgettable day..and see all soon on the sand
