Been looking forward to this drive since it was posted as last time with Scorpio we only managed to finish half the planned track. This drive proved to be alot better and in no time we was doing large arches, side sloping and climbing. It was a testament to the other Marshalls and how they have been pushing us in the drives since the previous one with Scorpio.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lead we had on an amazing track, convoy seemed to have a good flow with very few second trys or stucks.

Within a couple of hours we had covered 50km, I personally made the rookie mistake of not refuelling close to the meeting point. I assumed there was going to be another fuel station after the one I passed some 40km out. I had just over half a tank of fuel to start, but with all the arches and climbs keeping the car at high rpm it drank that and I was on low fuel. Marshall Presa escorted me to the gatch road and gave me instructions to where the closest petrol station was. Not the early finish I wanted but a lesson learnt about how much fuel my car will use if the pace gets higher.

Thank you to all the Marshalls for the instructions and guidance, supporting intermediates and advanced amongst the convoy. Always a pleasure to drive with this club, the adrenaline, camaraderie and thrills we share .

Until next time........

Hi Almosters
Winter is coming trip was lead by marshal @scorpio & supported by marshals @Rashidjass & @Presa
The trip was like a private learning drive as it was limited to less number of 10+ drivers (only 4 drivers) & 4 rescue members (@ahmadHasan & @Ehab & @Mpodroid & @Osman).
The trip was fast & intense, we did a lot of high Arches & side sloping & switched and even double switches for one or two times in a very smooth & convenient way.
We crossed more than 40 KM inside the dessert with less number of stops.

I believe that our patch performed well at this trip & we are confident to be pushed up more & more.
It was really new experience & important lesson.
Thanks for all the marshals & rescue team.
Thanks for our patch (@Spyda & @Mrwkassem & @Lapsis) and all the best.
