Dear Members
Salalah Adventure 2024 was another unforgettable experience. The Khareef season was late this year so not the same amount of water like last year but Salalah was generous with us this year to show us it's beauty without the FOG.
We had an amazing group with beautiful harmony which encouraged me to do all the crazy stuff including challenging the hidden beach.
All Thanks to our CREW team for organising everything and special thanks to @AhmadHasan for being my supporting man.
I will leave the area open for the members to share their memories.
Stay tuned for the videos and pictures
Cheers
Shamsi

First time to salalah, what a great time. When all factors meet, you can not ask for more. Area, company, and the lead. Was good idea to start on Friday 2nd earlier than planned, to cross more during day time and before the sun set. Reached Hiamah mid night, and time to sleep in the cars. Was funny experience, to sleep me and @Abdelghani in the back of the FJ. Got up early morning and started again our drive, crossing the boring desert. Reached salalah noon time, and that was the surprise for me. All green...water...fog...mud....real fun. Every day was better than the day before. @alshamsi_m thank you from my heart, for organizing such a great adventure. After going through, I have realized how much effort you have spent to end up with a very organized and well planned trip. Thank you again for looking after everyone, to make sure all are enjoying, really kind of you. @AhmadHasan thank you very much for watching our back, and guiding from start to end. Your password has added so much fun to our drive, and i hope will be always close to you to make use of the wifi 055 102 ....
. @Ely @AZK89 @TarrynLush and @Abdelghani great company. Everyone was very well harmonious with all, and understanding.
Pleased to be part of salalah 2024, and part of the Almost4X4.
Look forward to see you all again.
Hisham

Dearest Almosters,
It was a great pleasure and privilege to be part of this Salalah 2024 trip !
It’s my 3rd visit to Salalah , but my very 1st with the club. I am very grateful that I was able to make it and spend that time with you all : @TarrynLush, @AhmadHasan & @Ahmed Mafia, @Abdelghani & [
113]Hisham[/smention] and of course our leader @Shamsi. Small crew for a personalized trip what a great chance! We did miss a lot of members who couldn’t join us, but inshallah there is always a next year!
I think it would be hard to successfully describe or pick my favorite day… or even a favorite spot… cause truly everything was breathtaking and unique.
But let me tell you about a few places I really loved:
1. The climb to heaven, I did that one before but I never had a chance to appreciate its view, once you reached the top… cause it always has been foggy… this time we were so lucky… we even had an amazing tea-coffee (~by @Hisham) up there! I am sorry, my English vocabulary for setting description isn’t exceeding primary years level so I will leave it for your eyes to see…

2. Jojib waterfall, my favorite waterfall because of the tricky, muddy, slippery path and the river rock climbing session you have to undergo before you can actually reach the waterfall itself ! Yes you heard well : canyoning shoes, phones waterproof pocket and waterbag came very handy for that one ! Every time it’s a compulsory stop or me. Your efforts are rewarded ! I am so happy I could share that one with @Abdelghani while AhmedDXB, Ahmed Mafia and Tarryn went for a sweet treat
.

3. Shaat secret beach, this one… I was extremely lucky it was closed last year when I came with my Jimny because… the “fun-muddy-sections” actually caused a lot of troubles
, for more details you can ask Hisham, Bu Salem and Both Ahmed… Tarryn and I were actually listening to some mystical songs and laughing in the background. Again, once you reach down the beach… the view and privacy is just divine ! (Even better with a tea from ~@Hisham)

4. Ain Qiatha, this one was near Darbat, on our way to a cave, it came as a surprise from Bu Salem… it’s truly an idem gems. We had an improvised coffee by ~ @AhmedDXB there with some level 3 cookies. The view is just impossible to forget.

5. Hamran Spring, this one isn’t one of my favorite spot for the view but more for the experience and the time shared over there. I learned that having a picnic on a river spring was something quite common in SA! It was delightful !!!! I literally felt
with that kind of picnic!!!

On that note, I will leave it here for members to go, see for themselves and live their own Salalah adventure…
But before I would like to sincerely thanks Bu Salem for this wonderful experience, he has been a true guide and all of you my 2024 Almost Travel companions : Tarryn, AhmedDXB & Ahmed Mafia, Abdelghani & Hisham ! Love you guys

this was truly a unique flavor!
Take care and hope to see you very soon,
Bisous
Ps: @TarrynLush thank you for the little adventure trying to find that waterfall… to be continued !

PS2: if like me you are a coconut
addict, you must try Salalah special coconut !
