Hello Everyone
I’m sure that you had a great time with our last 6th. AGA and the girls are going to have a great time in the ladies’ drive “Birds of Prey” So what are you going to do in your next weekend ????
It is going to be Friday 13th the upcoming weekend and it is the only time that our nice marshals have the right to show their dark side
If you are a Newbie with 10+ drive or a person who you think that you can handle this day then, please be my guest !!! arr.
This event will be associated with a lot of digging, shoveling and pulling so please bring EXTRA water and someone to push your car.
I’m coming with my 1.6 letter car so sorry I can’t help you !! This event is one of the most popular events in our club so why you think it is so ??? Limited SOLs only
See you in the sand

Hi, I just joined this forum and hopefully can join some of your upcoming drives. I’ve lived in Dubai for almost 10 years, but never really explored the desert !
I was hoping for some guidance - can a Mitsubishi Pajero survive most of the drives that you guys organise on this forum ?
Thank you,
Asif

Hey @asifk,
Welcome to the family. Please get in touch with me on 0544307332 and I will add you to our club's chat box.
To answer your question, yes we have a lot of members who drive a Pajero or have driven in the past.
Also feel free to browse through out our forum for all sorts of information, I will suggest checking this out as it explains how our drives are organised for new members:

Dear all,
Hope all is well,
I am a new club member here and I wanted to join the drive on Friday the 13th, my question is do I have to be a newbie to join or can any club member sign up?
I have read most of the welcoming forms and I still need a couple of tools (jack, spark plug tool) to qualify as a newbie.
Additionally, I do have some experience in the sand as I have done a few convoys with other clubs before.
Thank you,
Ahmed.

HI All,
I am new to this club and need guidance in order to join the trip on 13th March Soft Sand Memories !!
Excited to be a part of the almost 4x4 family.
question is, i do not have adequate tools (rope, shackle, etc.) in my jeep wrangler. can i still join the this class as a newbie and then get some guidance from seniors in the team to develop my wrangler with all the required tools for off-roading?
Regards

Hey @NahorJP
Welcome to the family, we are very excited to drive with you as well. As per club rules all new members have to join us in the CLUB MEMBER drive first which is organised every 6 to 8 weeks and the last one was quite a while back. So keep an eye on the Upcoming Events section for the the next club member drive.
Once you have driven with us in the Club Member drive then after that the Marshals will do the tools inspection and upgrade you to Newbie. You can then join any newbie level drive as per your drive count.
Also please note that the tools and recovery equipment is not mandatory in order to participate in the Club Member drive, all you need is a 4x4. The tools are only required to get upgraded to Newbie and join the Newbie drives after you have driven in the club member drive.
Hope that helps and see you on the sand.
