Greetings everybody,

This trip was designed for the Club Members (first timers in our club). We met in ADNOC Taiba petrol station in Sharjah/ Kalba Road at 8:30. It was really nice chit-chating with our new joiners. We did few tools check up in order to give them the first star. At 9 we did attendance check and a short briefing and then we moved to the starting point where we had a demonstration about off-roading in the desert.

After the demonstration we lined up the members in 2 convoys. I took the lead of the first one and @Yoghybear led the 2nd one. We had @zico @Hockey @salhinai @Eric @Daggerfall @Mark B Iskander in Rescue Team.

The drive was around 20 KMs in the sand and I tried my best to make the drive easy and interesting. My point was not to miss any drop to break up the fear from the first timers. In general everyone did very well. People were happy for the trip. We finished the drive at around 12:30 in the same meeting point.

In the end I would like to remind our Club Members to make sure that they have all the tools required to upgrade them from CM to newbie so they will be able to join future trips.

Thank you again zico Yoghybear Abu Jimmy for your endless support. Thank you Rescue team..you guys rock and thank everyone who attended the trip.

Cheers and see you in the sand..very soon

Hello All,

It is always pleasure to meet with new members who wants to join our family and share the same passion with us.

And thanks to @Mazaaj for trusting us as a rescue in his convoy and all the Marshalls and other resque team, hope we did a good job. Actually @Mark B has done most of the job :) He was the senior rescue going back and forth along the convoy :))). Did great as always!

I don't have much to add to the report below. Everything went well and all the members finish the trip safely and hopefully they had fun.

I would be happy to read their thoughts if they share it here.

Looking forward to see you all soon.

Thanks & Regards

hello almosters

i have joined this group along time ago as a passenger and camp attender and this methodology trip was my first ever driving in desert in my whole life, i wanted to thank hamzahng for letting me and trusting me driving his car for the first time since ive been here in the UAE in the member club drive in last Friday.

i attended the camp on Thursday, the weather was really cold, so if anyone is coming for any camp in the future should bring something to keep him warm, we mounted our tent and slept, we woke up at 6:45 and it was freezing as hamzah can confirm since he was begging me to get to the car and get him something to wear it above the jacket he was wearing, we started to gather things up while we were looking at the beautiful and charming view of the desert, we finished gather and our stuff and we put the tent back to the car, we helped the rest of the camp attenders to clean the camp area, and made sure no garbage was left behind, as always.

we moved to the meeting location at 8:30 and a little briefing was given at 9:00 o'clock to tell us were we where going, we moved to the deflation point and there they gave us a long brief about off-roading and the club rules and safety measures which we have to apply, and equipments needed in the desert, we moved on and we were split into 2 convoys the first was with mazaaj and the second was with yoggybear, and i was with yoggybear convoy, everything was really smooth and it was a good trip, and i wanted to thank @hookey and abu jemmy for the great feedback on my driving.

thank you for the drive i hope i would continue driving with you in the next chances
