Hi everyone

I won't let the other weekend come without writing my trip report. Thanks for all who wrote their trip report because you just extended the fun we had last weekend.

Well I am not going to talk about the fun or joy we had because everyone did, I am going to take about my ENEMIES :

Day one The Gates :
To drive from Gasser Al Sarab to Moreeb dune you need to pass by the Gates, unfortunately Gate 14th was closed so we had to challenge the dunes to go gate 13 which was closed too then I said " OK , One more chance" let us drive gate 12 which is the oldest among them but Gasser stood strong against our attack and the GATES won this battle. I had one opportunity to jump the finesse " Old School trick " but then I realized that I have intermediates behind me so I had to drive back and race the sun set to bring everyone out before it is dark. Well, we didn't go through but we challenged THREE chains of Hameem dunes against the wind direction which is not easy task for many offroaders. I am proud of our boys because they did it.

Day two the Finesse :

Last year I was with team that was designed the route for AD desert challenge 2014 so we passed this area and it was OK, This time I was surprised with a very long finesse that closed a big chunk of the drive, it took away from me at least 3 to 4 tracks which is considered a big lost. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the end of my new enemy due to technical problem with one of our members but I promise you that I am going to get back with new routes.

Well, they say what doesn't kill you make you stronger. Although we couldn't drive our plan but still made new discoveries and amazing time in the middle of nowhere.

Thank you all for making another successful event with Almost4x4 Off-Road Club family.

It has been a while now since the Liwa trip, it's been on my mind to write a small report, however other things had kept me busy.
Liwa is just an amazing place, - it was my first time there. The dunes are high, the landscape is beautiful and the area provides a great diversity for dune driving.
After arriving at the camp around midnight with Arminjune, we were sitting around the campfire until late and eventually everyone went to sleep.
Next morning I woke up with a splitting headache which would stay with me until afternoon.
But the fun during the drive prevailed and the greatness of this area is just overwhelming.
The drive was at a good pace, with some tricky parts to master, big bowls and flat tracks between the dunes.
Gates being closed meant a bit of extra effort to get back to the camp site, however I was not much concerned since we all carried our the camping gear. We could have settled anywhere. It would however have been along night for @orlansev who arrived at the planned second nights campsite that evening..
Back in the camp at nightfall campfire was set up, dinner backed, cooked and barbecued, good laughs and everybody settled in early.
Next morning the drive continued into the vast desert, with challenging climbs, the usual tricky spots that made my Jeep jump more than once.
Late afternoon before sunset, a quick drive to the main road was the end of a magnificent 2 days desert drive.
Thanks to shamsi_m for always finding a drivable path through the dunes, to all leaders and participants for a great 2 days in the sand.
