it is important to register through the system because it keeps track of how many drives you have done with the club. Otherwise , Marshals won't be able to decide for your future upgrade.

The system put you in the Waiting list which is fine and you are joining us as promised.

My first CM trip after joining and feel so excited...

Few questions / if anyone can guide..

1) Is it necessary to have walkie-talkie in this first CM trip itself ?
I have gone to DM today morning but got confused with so many models of W/T. Now, I am going thru all posts on W/T and trying to find out which one I should buy.
Can anyone favor me to give a name of the model / price & shop number at DM and I just pick it up without wasting time ?
2) 3 T, bottle jack is ok ?
3) In built towing point ( Fortuner 4.0 L / V6) are sufficient or I need to fix additional bull bar?

I suggest all the CMs to complete their equipment list to get their first star so you can join upcoming newbie drives. And for more detail about the equipment please check the following link you might find some shop numbers in DM.

Most recommended radio models are not available. I have bought Crony CY 888 Radio set UHF for 170 at Dragon Mart (Shop BAI 08).

Regarding the jack you will need a floor jack, you will find the recommended one at Almost Garage.

You need 2 recovery points on the front and 2 on the back

I went through most of the comments and so excited to hit the sand. Especially the note saying " enjoy guys as you will have many marshals and rescue" :).
Looking forward to meet all of you.
Unfortunately I didn't notice yesterday that there is a shop in DM with the club logo.

1- I bought Motorola WT, anybody try it & does it work? It's (VHF 5W/UHF 4 W) and wide range signal 25 KHz and narrow 12.5, and it accept 6 digits.
2- @ Mazaaj, Any early hint about the place , as I'm based in Abu Dhabi and would like to plan where to sleep Abu Dhabi, Dubai or Sharjah .?
