But it has 245 / 65 R17 instead of 275 / 70 R16 and i hope it is okay for the first trips, and a Skid Plate is needed too.
I am enjoying the infos on the forum and cant wait to learn more from the Almosters personally.
Pls change this bicycle tyres immediately and add alloy rims. You can trade your existing rims and tyres with Iranians in Sharjah, try to get Cooper AT, if it is available. You will be just digging on the first gear, with your current tyres... You can use them, but you will need to deflate to 8 psi. Don't listen to anybody, even Marshals, if they tell you it's too much. Trust me. No sharp turns, everything smoothly, no panicking. Easy to say, right? You'll be panicking on your first trip for sure :ORLY:

Aye aye Captain, soonly will search for the recommended 275/70 R16 but you posted once to use H/T instead of A/T or M/T because they tend to dig in critical situation. Kindly advice.
Hehehe I did not think I would panic on the first trip, but if you say so, I guess there will be unexpected surprises for a newbie :-)

H/T is definitely better.

Hi my name is Michael, I am a newbie off-roader :)
I am from Manila, PH.
I am driving a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with: 2" Mopar lift, Mopar CAI, Mopar Catback, Traction Control cut off switch and onboard / mounted Bushranger air compressor.
I am an IT Manager by day and a photographer (https://500px.com/michaelrcruz)
I have been to driving to the desert very recently, so far only 2 drives and I really enjoy it. If anyone near MotorCity and willing to teach me or show me some offroading tips, that would be AWESOME!

Looking forward on joining Almost 4x4 drives soon :)

Hello. I'm Ryan and a newbie with the forum, the group and off-roading. I moved here from Tampa Bay, Florida last Sept. Naturally I am a fan of our local NFL team the Buccaneers. I proudly wear my Buc's jersey because 99.9% of the people here don't know how bad we played (last place lol). It's OK our hockey team the Tampa Bay Lightning is kicking ice and making up for it. I was born in the Philippines but grew up in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and have been living in the US since 1992. I enjoy shooting/collecting guns, mudding, riding my ATV, hunting, salt water fishing, camping, kayaking, paintballing and video games...I'm your run of the mill Asian redneck :)

I became a Chevy fan when I purchased my hunting truck....a 1997 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 2WD. I plan to turn this into a Pre-Runner when I get back home. Here in Dubai I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Silverado Reg Cab 4.3L V6 4x4. I've had some basic modifications done to help off-roading i.e. NFab bumper and Rough Country 3.5" lift. I really don't have much left on my wish list but I'm sure that will change the more I go off-roading. I've had limited experience in the sand and I remain eager with learning the proper way to off-road safely. I think I'm a good learner and I strive to follow rules. So I think joining this group is a good move. Besides I know a few of the folks here already. I'm looking forward to meeting more of y'all.
