Sooo fascinated with this kind of trips..and trip reports .. don't know when can make it similar with almost team... i know to attain a prompt driving skill on sand in day time is difficult .. so no question on night driving .. Appreciated Almost team..!!
the report gives real taste of trip and critical points to lean better for a off roader like keeping distance , light for night driving , important of GPS , teaspoon feeding ..(lol).. coming in groups .. etc.. learning a lot with Almost..

it was a great trip,
first sorry all for being late, but i guess extreme group were slower hehehe
all the drivers did very well , specially in sweihan where you cant predict what is next ,
not to mention night drive in there, wooow, it should take care of all your fears , not knowing what is on the other sides ( drop, sharp crest, side slops, ditchs... )
thanks to all the members and big thanks for Bu Salem who never let anybody expectation down
also thanks for Hokey for landing me alot of fuses , you can always rely on Jeepers hehehe (moving workshop)
this trip took its toll on my patrol, broke off my rear sway bar link, but managed to continue the drive :killzonesmiley: (Nissan thing :P )
see you all in the sand next time

Hi L.R

I went to your drive after we finished and enjoyed the Lamp Chops

I had a feeling that we meet at the camp site !!

Have to admit that it was one of the most beautiful drives I have done with the club till now :like:

Maybe because to follow an unknown route in Sewihan was very exciting OR, the idea to mix Intermediate and Advanced drivers worked so well OR because the trip was more like a training drive than a standard trip...I had a feeling that I don't want it to end.

We entered the desert in two convoys. The guest-club (Bu Salem called it "Extreme") disappeared 30-40 min after the start of the drive. It was really sad; they looked like nice guys!

I was lucky enough to get a good spot in the convoy between a sibling car in front (Delta with Nissan Patrol) and a buddy Armin behind. Four hours of driving relaxation and happiness! Thanks guys :evanwhateverlinethi

As it was mentioned before, in this drive we had all types of entertainments: small technical and high fast dunes, sabha, drops, crests, soft sand, day and night drive, fast track... The average speed was brilliantly adjusted, not too slow to bother Advanced drivers and not too high to make things difficult for Intermediates. Short breaks and pit stops gave us the opportunity to chit chat without decreasing the general temp of driving. (In my opinion a couple of short breaks are much better than a long one.)

While I was watching how confident Bu Salem was climbing into the darkness of the high dune and how good Rashidjass was driving a stock car, I realized that to our hobby only the sky is the limit! Working on myself can keep me busy for the next century :wtfsmilie:

Thanks to BuSalem for the amazing trip!
Thanks to Rashidjass for the second lead and to Fida for the sweeping!
Thanks to all Advanced drivers for the master class you gave to us!
Thanks to all my friends for a great time together!
Secondly , I was watching if you are going to come as individuals or as a group, Well done for whoever came alone. On the other hand, who came in group " Believe me, you are going to stay in this level for a long time ".
"Zorro, don't take it personally but next time you see me on the Sweihan petrol station I will stay there and move on only 5 min after you left."

Is that what you want us to do Bu Salem? We are friends (you even named us FAMILY) and we come as a group because we enjoy to be together, not because we can't do it alone.
