Hot Sand
Almost well written here.
I would just like to add, that fixing the jack from front, at suspension arms or shocks, has always priority, as you'll be lifting only the tyre area and not the whole car. Of course if it is allowed by car's position and terrain.
Thanks caprihorse

A Lovely morning with winds blowing across as we drove to the meeting point...
After the roll call and short briefing by Yoghybear, we head out in our convoys accordingly.
I was in the 5+ convoy led by Mazaaj in the Mini Me with Hockey and Adnan for recovery and Abu Jimmy as sweeper...
It was a beautiful drive with sand going in all directions. A testing drive with really soft sand.
Everyone drove well with very few second rounds.
A BIG thank you to all the Marshals, Organizers and participants for the amazing drive.
Looking forward to a nice drive for this coming long weekend.
Have fun an tc till then
C u all soon
Guys,
With a broken front plate mount of my F150 , i'd to place the plate on the dashboard temp till Sat morning for the service centre to open.
But luckily on Friday late in the evening just outside my building i got a traffic ticket for not having the plate in place.
And the funny part, with a fine of Dhs.200/- and 2 black points , that same night i fixed the plate along eith the mount on to the bumper with a metal wire.
:pissed off:
Cheers,

lost a bumper - moment dark
thanks for grabbing it up Mark!
we arrived Badayer square
drive was beautifully rare

We all gathered at Al Badayar shops in the morning and we started moving around 08:30 AM – 08:40 AM. I was in the 5+ convoy lead by Mazaaj with “Mini Me” with Adnan, Hocky and Abu-Jimmy. The track was interesting with mix of soft and hard sand. We had some quick turns after coming out from the dune. This time I was trying to keep proper distance. I was not perfect but I was little bit better than the last time. Thanks to OXANA for your helpful post “I cannot keep the right distance. Why?”
We all were amazed watching Mini Me is going top of Pink Rock. In the trip few second tries (Me), stuck and lack of proper air pressure etc. All the time marshals were calm and helpful. Many thanks to marshals and organizers for such a wonderful trip.
