I have a Kenwood Walkie Talkie I bought from another Club Member. I don't have its manual though. I tried fiddling with it to feed our club frequencies but to no avail.
Is it possible that someone has a Manual for it and I could borrow it? Or better yet, someone could help me by setting the frequencies?

I can share the manual with you if it is this model..
I got the same so-called 'Kenwood TK-UV3' walkie talkie from a shop in Dragon Mart. However I am taking this opportunity to spread the word that this is not an original Kenwood walkie-talkie. The poor English of the manual got my attention and I started doing research on this model. That is when I found that this model is actually a 'Wouxun KG-UVD1P' walkie-talkie from China with a fake label on it. Nevertheless I am very happy with it - and found exceptionally good reviews for it under its original name. This page offers a thorough review and help with the different menus. http://n9ewo.angelfire.com/kguvd1p.html
Though I bought this and am happy with it, I would advise people to stay away from it just because buying any equipment with a fake-label seems wrong to me, especially for a very important purchase such as the walkie-talkie. I will be getting a 2nd walkie-talkie soon as communication in the sand is very important and may be life-saving.

Just my 2 cents.
@Maddie, is this the one you got?

hi Gilles
these devices are "not authorized" in UAE hence you might not find the original distributor or the product itself in UAE. most of walkie talkie bought from Dragon Mart are duplicate and not original with no warranties (which is the case for all their products). And actually you could remove the Kenwood stickers easily from the walkie talkie :)

I have the same device and I studied the manual easily, I recommended to my friend since it's too easy to configure and he got it for 370, car charger and home power charger are the same, headphone, plus extra battery for 65.
We test the both devices in good weather open area it work fine for just five kilometers so it's not seven watts at all but it's clear and fine with me.
If anyone need the manual I can Lend it for a copy
