Amazing stuff, many thanks, I collected my kit from the Almost 4by4 Service Center Today.

However hope you wont mind me asking this and I do know that anything rated is always advisable. But when it comes to shackles, I had purchased ones costing Dh 15 from a shop in sharjah and this has served me well since a Year and over, but has anyone come across the consequence of not using a rated shackle ? Please don't mind me asking and its just curiosity.

if the shackle or the towing point breaks in the process of towing a stuck vehicle , it will fly as quick and fast as a canon ball . a flying shackle can do massive damage to human body and can even kill if it hits the head or any other vital organs.

Sharjah tool shops have rated shackles and hooks and its not very expensive . The rating we recommend is not less than 3.25 Ton , and it will be written clearly on the device . ( 3250 kg ) or ( 3.25 ton ) or ( 3 1/4 ton ) as most of the cars used for off roading weighs less than 3 ton ,

Abu Jimmy, I requested for a full kit but at the time of collection Bu Salem only had the rope available so i collected that and paid for it. However, I don't have the rest of the kit....can an arrangement be made to pay the extra 100 and collect just what I don't have (shackles, gloves, bag)

The new batch we have is only a full kit , regarding the shackles and hock you can find it in shrjah easily .
