well for you my friend, suction cup + fishing rod is the way to go. Many people use it the group and it works, just soak it with water before sticking it with the glass and it will stay there...

well you can find it in dragon mart easily along with a fishing rod as well...
Mounting it can be better explained by some one who is using it.

For Pajero is the best solution to tie the fishing rod with bungee ties to the spare tyre. I'm using suction cups, because it is the most convenient solution for me, to switch easily between fishing rod and flasher for the night; however I already lost couple of them...
