Almost4x4

A great time was had by all on Thursdays camping trip. We set off at about 1030 and were soon in the place where we would pitch our tents. Most of us erected the tents before settling down by the campfire. Thanks Nancy to you and your husband for giving me a helping hand.

There were 2 birthdays so we used the occasion to celebrate with music and 'fine dining' (from the BBQ). Madeline had brought along a wonderful birthday cake that was shared around. Dancing and singing were all part of the fun. The weather was pretty mild too!

We left the camp site a little before 9am and were soon back at the original meeting point. Many of the guys were off driving.

All garbage was cleared from the site before leaving. So important that Almosters take this seriously as driving back there were a couple of areas that had been littered by campers and it was not a nice sight. Proud to know that Almosters leave the area as we find it.
