Hi.

I am looking to get a UNICHIP Q for my 2010 FJ Cruiser.

MOCA ( the Mohd Omeir people) the official dealers in the UAE want AED 3,300 for the chip with tuning. This is without the plug and play harness, they will cut the ECU wires and fit it.

With the plug and play wiring harness they want AED 4,300.

Now if I import the UNICHIP with the harness its costing only AED 2,800 and comes pre tuned based on your mods.The tuning will be average and will equire a final tune once installed.

MOCA has quoted AED 1,800 for tuning only which is too much.

Do you all know any other options to get the UNICHIP and get it tuned anywhere in the UAE

I don't like the idea of cutting any wires and also don't want to pay those high prices for the plug and play harness.

What I want to do is import the UNICHIP, install it myself ( its very simple, have done it before) and then get it tuned locally.

Could you guys suggest any alternate tuners to MOCA. If not can anyone get a better price for tuning from MOCA....maybe Bu Salem can get me a good price from them ????

Thanks.....my UNICHIP should be here next week. However well they tune it in the US they can't do a good jon as things very from car to car. Nothing liek tuning in real time on the car in question. BUT bin Omair is too expensive.

if you are going to buy uni-chip Q (US) from them then it will be 3200 dhs with installation and tuning ... if you have the uni-chip Q and installed then the tuning is only for 500 dhs

Thanks Bu Salem......do they have a dyno to test the output after the tune ?

They make road test ... The guy will fix every thing in you car and you two are going to go for a drive togather ... I did it the same way .. I think that the dyno is comercial more than practical !!

I'm very happy with their resultes with no issues

Do you actually feel the difference with the UNICHIP ?

LOL...so I got 80 % right when I got my ICON suspension and now with the K & N intake and cat back + UNICHIP I should be close to 95 %
