I am for any drive in middle of the week, not only night drives, cause actually there is lot to do during the weekend, sometimes even go to work ;)
Are there any other Almosters who would like to have a week day drives? And most importantly, are Marshalls free to organize something like that? I am sure that this would be very small convoys.
Mohamed Al Shamsi:
So far our Marshals are weekenders
We have a rule among marshals that they go in pairs the reason behind that if the leader fall down for any reason the other will take over.
Another scenario is if a marshal goes alone that is because there are other marshals doing another level in same area, if he/she needs help one of those marshals will fly to help
Our members safety is our priority. Of course if a holiday falls in the midweek we are all OUT

...and this can be felt on every drive. It is always very relaxing, enjoyable, safe and it always finishes at almost exact scheduled time. Which is not always the case, by my experience, on some “other” drives. ;)
