Hello everyone

It was surprising that even with temperatures raised there are still many tracks between Al Badayer to Pink Rock. We had a very nice fast safari style drive as the name of the drive for almost 1.5 hour and the second half was adventure toward the Coffee dunes were we had a nice break to chit-chat and catch up.

In the last part we had a long drive with higher speed on the easy ground to finish at 2nd December cafeteria to say goodbye for our members and to start the Safari Camp.

I think there will be more safari drives and less technical until heat clear out.

Till next time. Take care

Hi everyone,

Summer certainly has started and we could feel the heat compared to the previous weekend's drives. Summer seems to hit with a bang. One weekend it is still relatively cool, and the next one it is steaming hot.

Fortunately with our club, there is no end of season, and we can keep on enjoying drives right through the hot months.

Thank you to organisers and participants, it was an enjoyable drive and day out with everyone.

Till we meet again.

Very nice drive with alshamsi_m at the front of the convoy, Abu Jimmy at the end and Hockey rotating.

It was really enjoyable and fun and we drove several styles; I liked both the safari style and also the part where we drove faster on the flatter ground.

With Almost4x4 we keep on learning all the time and sometimes learning is remembering.

In this case the lesson learned/reminded is no overtaking.

There was a second trial and the car in front of me and myself did not stop. This is a mistake that we made.

Whenever there is a second trial, all the vehicles behind that car should find a way to securely stop and bring the convoy to a halt (further comments and/or corrections are welcome).

Overall it was a great evening and it was very nice to catch up once again with the Almost4x4 Family.

Thanks a lot to the organizers and participants and have a great week ahead! See you soon!

This was one fast drive, as the name of the drive says, safari style....

We met at the Badayar shops by 3 pm and after the briefing by alshamsi_m, we were on the sand and driving faster than we imagined. It was fast, rhythmic and fun. But the weather was really hot, telling us it is time for very early morning drives and late afternoon drives, and fast safari style driving.

We drove from Badayar to Al faya via pink rock and coffee dunes and retuned back to 2nd December. We had couple of second tries or more, but nothing more big. Loved the drive specially the fast loop we did on the flat ground. Thanks @alshmasi_m for the drive, Abu Jimmy for sweeping and making sure we are on the track and Hockey for making sure we are safe. Appreciate all your dedication towards the sport.

See you next time...
