Dear all,
This afternoon was very nice, the drivers had enough information from the big bosses to have a successful drive, the weather wasn't that hot, and the area view was very nice, where we found camels and alghazal,,, the drive was very nice and smooth.
wish all the best to all drivers who are looking for their first start.

It was a beautiful day! After watching the eggs busket game refreshed at the petrol station and was ready ti hit the sand for my first drive with the club. I loved the convoy the company of drivers, the views. My spider-tank perfomed very well thanks to Strawb's advice. Thanks Paul for the consultation, I got it done! initial instructions were very helpfull, I realized the concept of using the gravity and heavy front of the car especially in the situation when Yogybear instructed me to descend a challenging dune. Best regards to everyone who was there and awaiting to see you as soon as possible in the sands.

Such a great convoy. Thanks to the Lead Marshall (Strawb) who gave us a smooth trail perfect for us CM, and to other Marshall's who gave their watchful eyes guiding us.

Upon satisfactory passing strict Yoghybear and Strawb's inspection, I (and my fellow CM's) managed to squeeze ourselves in for this anticipated event -getting our Initial Dose, and reach our first .

The convoy started with a safety briefing from the Marshall's, then found ourselves driving on a scenic dunes with sighting of rare ghazal's and camels. Traversed on the other side of the desert and waived goodbye to my fellow CM's.

Before heading to the pumping station, had the opportunity to play with the Marshall's and two Advanced Drivers. It pumped my adrenalin out driving with them. Keeping the distance and chasing the lead car. They are monster's on the sands! Few meter's to the exit point and got my tire pop-out, darn it! But managed to fix immediately with my complete set of tools (now Yoghybear and Strawb's inspection paid off) and a helping hand from a Marshall, then drive few meters to inflating point.

T'was a great experience I would never forget, and hoping for more adrenalin-packed driving.

Thank you ALMOST 4x4 Family for welcoming us inside your house.

Will see you soon again on the sands.

Hi guys

Wow, what a great day.

I had the opportunity to meet some of the new Almost4x4 drivers and watch them perform out in the desert.

This was my first time in this area and i was super excited. I have eyed out the dunes many times, as it is on my route to Al Badayer......but never driven on them.

I was 2nd lead, behind Strawb. The route Strawb picked was interesting and challenging.
The new CM drivers performed very well. The route must have been quite intimidating at times as the dunes were quite steep, with sharp edges. However the sand was still hard from the previous rains and that made it quite do-able.

Well done to everyone and thanks to Strawb and the Marshals for allowing me to join on a CM drive.

Regards
Paul
