Baby Valentine

Thanks Organizers, Marshals and fellow members for taking time out of your Valentine day for the sweet trip.
Trip started off at Al Badayer shops and was fast paced with only one short break at the pink rock. Although I don’t have enough experience to say that it is easier to drive on hard sand:blank:, I guess that no major stucks / rescues in today’s drive, was testimony to the point.
Climb at the pink rock was well executed by all drivers and was a confidence booster for me as well. :048::pride:
One of the many lessons for me from today’s drive was not to accelerate during descent on hard sand, which I was culprit of doing. Thanks Chief Bu Salem for pointing that out to the drivers.
I nodded vigorously when Marshall Desert Lizard mentioned at the post-drive meet that we drove criss-cross today; but honestly I still have not understood a bit of navigation during the drive and would not have known where to go if there was no car in front of me. I hope that this skill will come with time and experience. For this reason, I would like to call my drive “baby’s day out
– where experienced drivers saw the desert, I saw only the dunes".
Thanks again fellow ALMOSTERS for the trip and I look forward to hearing from fellow drivers.
