SWB Safari Patrol question

I'm getting a Patrol Safari SWB since the new models have the 4.8 engine. My friend told me that the 4.8 SWB version has the 4.5 transmission and differentials, and the LWB version has the 4.8 transmission and differentials, is this true?

There are various options for Y61. In general both versions can be ordered with rear differential locks. However unfortunately 4.5L Patrol, if it is SWB or LWB is a weak version engine, significantly sitting below performance of Pathfinder 3.5L. Only reliable option for Patrol is 4.8L VVT, equipped with rear difflocks, doesn't very much matter if LWB or SWB. My personal opinion is that SWB acts more swiftly as LWB. At the moment all versions can be ordered with M/T or A/T, but for off-roading M/T is the most preferable option.
