Apologies, I read it but I guess I misunderstood. I thought that confirmation would be done through the registration system after it was posted. My bad.

We accept. Do you comply with all requirements to Intermediate level, including your paperwork for EMSF?

We will be checking at following at this trip.

Intermediate

• Demonstrating confident, competent and safe driving at Newbie level showing that they are capable of entering Intermediate trips
  
• A typical Intermediate trip will be faster paced and include slightly more challenging routes. Being able to drive against the dunes, side-slope (not for play), where side-crest are generally driven on these trips.

Required:

• Have to apply for the EMSF ID
  
• Active role on our Forum website

Minimum Recovery Equipment

• A rated (approved) snatch strap
  
• 2 Rated Shackles
  
• Rated Hook
• Shovel
  
• Air compressor
  
• Base plate for jacking vehicle
  
• Spare tyre in good shape
  
• Front & rear towing points
  
• Tyre deflator
• Wrench Tools
• Spark plug wrench

Minimum Safety Equipment

• Fire extinguisher (Dry Powder)
  
• Flag pole including flag
  
• Communication device (Walkie-talkie)
• Jerrycan

However at this trip some exempts can be made, where the minimum required equipment is needed (as mentioned in the opening post), but at the real test you must comply with all above.

I will be sure to be ready by then. Will try to get the application papers and the fee with me on the drive. Other pending items are jerrycan and mount for it and a spark plug wrench. Will also have to check the fire extinguisher type I have.
