Hi All,
It was another amazing trip, as usual, very well organized, brilliant Marshal skills, excellent communication and coordination. You guyz are just amazingly awesome !:008:
We started around 9 an and divided the group into two convoys. One headed by Marshal Hamdan and another by Marshal Zico. Innitially the drive seemed easy as the sand was a bit wet with all the fog last night, but offcourse the Almost4x4 Marshals know just exactly what to do, when to do and how !:045: As dunes passed, in less than an hour, the route became quite challenging for us newbies. I was lucky to be the first after the 2nd Lead, and auto specialist Marshal Omar. Had a chance to conquer couple of challenging dunes which others where not routed to. Lucky to be able get "kinda" stuck couple of times where Marshals guided brilliantly and was on the track in no time. Being not very sure as i was in the beginning of the convoy, i think we had couple of pop-outs and may be stucks too (as the convoy stopped few times). Initially my radio wasn't working but then thanks to big Red, it was working at the almost end of the trip:022:. Also the Marshal Omar had to lean into my hood couple of times as my Cherokees crank bearing was making some noise and the engine would take much pressure. But once assured by Marshal Omar, me and my jeep said "We aint gona stop today":028:. Sorry guyz for the minor delay caused due to it. Anywayz it was yet another awesome experience. Oh, and not to forget at almost end of the trip, when Marshal Zico mentioned on the radio 'Fast Track' and Boom we were speeding behind him !:051: you just rock Marshals !:loyal:
Thanks Marshals Zico, Omar Abu Jimmy, Gine, Hamdan, Abu Tariq and all others who i missed to mention as well as members for such a great trip.:victorious:
Looking forward for the next trip:028:
Besafe and rock like always Almosters !:048:

Another great trip to improve driving skills. I was in the second convey headed by Marshal Zico, as usual excellent leadership and guidance from all Marshals, Intermediate and the entire convoy. The sand was wet and it was the first time for me in such conditions, although the drive was smooth, this definetely gave the opportunity to improve skills as well as learn more. It has been challenging trip for few I am sure but all in all it was enjoyable trip and thanks to all.

Happy and excited to see the drives getting more challenging!
Was part of the 1st convoy with Marshal Hamdan leading. Miss D decided to jump in the Big Black Bull with me and relax for the day, gave me a few tips and tricks of the game. And off course stuffed me with chocolates and Red Bull to keep the bull running :028:
Big thanks to our Marshals for another great trip, and thanks to Armin as well for helping out Knajia to unstuck himself a couple of times :045:

As always I am ever grateful to come on drives with the group and I don't think I can exoress what a great job The marshalls do. The drive itself for me was not challenging enough and very relaxing appropriate enough for the level v stated. What I did enjoy seeing was an intermediate being used to assist the Marshall.

P.s. my father and Co enjoyed the Ride :) I was not happy to see one of our drivers drive over a rock I always feel like it's my own car when things like this happen. I did enjoy being part of the rescue/assistive efforts.
Thank you
Thank you

Hello everybody,
This was my second drive with Almost4x4, and the drive was great. Being challenging at times, it kept the interest going to look forward to "okay conqured this, bring it on baby". But was amaaaazing. It was great to see the dunes up close and personal.
I had a couple of stucks, all self recoveries though. Camel pointed out that I may be struggling a bit due to tyre pressure, he was right, and we deflated down a bit. From then onwards, Roxanne (my Red TJ) glided like a warm knife on soft butter. Thanks Camel.
I got to witness a pop-out as well, Camel again to the rescue with Red Scorpion. Wow, that was amazing. Never thought it the rescue operation could be that flawless.
Towards the end of the trip, I experienced a personal nightmare as well... Roxanne had a flat tyre in the front. Not a pop-out... she just deflated completely. Lucky for me, it was on flat ground. Nonetheless, my feeling at that point in time was... "gosh, how utterly embarassing, I'm not coming with these guys again". But Camel and Red Scorpion were back to the rescue again... they just reinflated the tyre and we were good to go.
Bu Salem and everybody else keeps on saying that Almost4x4 is a second family. I experienced it yesterday. I mentioned in an earlier post that I usually take a long time to socialise, and hence when total strangers came to my rescue so willingly, I was totally touched. Thanks guys.
Thanks to the Zico, Red Scorpion, Melfi, the dude in the bright blue Wrangler (sorry didnt get your name), Camel and all the participants who made this trip truly outstanding. Looking forward to the next trip.
