Hi Guys I'd like to ask for some help.
I can't identify my Pajero by VIN number on any website decoding VINs, even the Mitsubishi website doesn't recognize my VIN as a proper one. What is wrong? Is my Pajero fake or what? :023:
The VIN is JMYMRV63W3J707130
and here is instruction for decoding
http://www.mitsubishicars.com/media/own ... 03VINs.pdf
Doesn't match at all! Nevertheless the car is in Dubai Mitsubishi dealer's database.
Can anyone help please.
BTW I'm also looking for Owner's Manual, if anyone can borrow for copy I'd be gratefull. The Dealer couldn't help.

Normally owners manual are available for free download for all cars from manufacturer's website. If you are looking for Service manual, try to get it from here -

Your VIN is not a valid number. Can you check, if your registration corresponds to the reality printed on the car itself? Isn't there a typing error? I tried this website (
http://www.decodevin.com/) with my VINs and it works correctly.

Guess what, you're not the only one with this issue.
I've found http://pajero4x4.ru/ and most of the vin they have posted cannot be decoded through any of the decoders.
This website can help you if you know Russian language :011:

Lucky you, I'm free at work (as usual :011:) and found out this decoder...
http://vinformer.su/ru/ident/vin/decode.php (although it's not giving 100% info but still :057:)
Take a look. let google translate the page in english.

It's 2003 Montero, which can be seen from the published Theo's VIN, 8th digit from the right.

This link works and correctly identifies the vehicle. A good message is that it also does say, that this car is not registered in DB of stolen cars. :011:
Here is the English version of this decoder; it works with 17 digit VIN numbers -
