Sony Vegas Pro 11.0 64-bit for Intel PC equipped with powerfull processor, e.g I7 and enough memory. It is more stable as Adobe Premiere 64-bit.

After Effects is definitely not for video editing. It was developed for animations, mostly as trial from Adobe to enter 3D market.

Actually it's easier to use comparing with Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro... and it's significantly faster in terms of engineering tools.
