Hello everyone, my name is Dave. I joined as a club member last week and signed up for my first drive Friday. I was disappointed to miss out on the morning drive and to be put on a wait list. However, I was really impressed how the organisers made sure everyone on the wait list managed to earn their ''first star'' over the weekend and arranged for a second drive Friday afternoon. For some, that meant giving up over 14 hours of their free time on a family day. A very generous gesture indeed. We all had a great relaxing drive, except when interrupted by the many Safari Tours flying past at high speed up at Pink Rock believing that they own the desert!

But the desert is there for us all to share and enjoy and I look forward to enjoying it more with my new ALMOST4X4 friends in the near future.
