I have been going to the desert for years & often see 4x4 clubs out there. Ive never been tempted to join one until now!
I saw a wrangler on the weekend with this sticker & thought id look you all up.
The club seems full of such lovely people.
Cant wait to get out into the dunes with you all.
Quick question, anywhere you would recommend in abu dhabi to get hold of a flag pole (i saw this is a requirement for your trips).
Thanks in advance.
Toby

Hi,
I came to know this club when I met Bu Salem / M. Al Shamsi during UAE XPLORE III. Finally I made my first trip with this club on 20 October 2012.
Has been in UAE since 2003. I got a chance to experience sand/dune/desert driving lesson with Emirates Driving Institute in October 2006. In 2007, I own a Fortuner (V6) where I started my hobby to drive in the desert once in a while... not addicted. When I got a Land Cruiser I become more active is desert driving but my Land Cruiser ended with an accident during UAE XPLORE IV when an unexperienced lady driver driving a Pajero hit my LC at the back causing major damage. Now, I opted to drive Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited and hope to learn more and more in desert driving.
Cheers,
Jun aka Trident
