Hi Almosters,

I was talking to a friend which recently traveled with his car outside UAE and he informed me that it is required now to get a traveling tourism document from the Tourism club eitherwise your car will not be allowed to exit UAE.

I do not know to what extent that applies to the Oman borders. I know that it is a must for Saudi and for cars that are to be shipped for short period of time outside UAE.

I will suggest that you do your homework and look into this matter before you get in trouble and your vacation plans get ruined.
