I have never seen RashidJass stuck, so this must be a challenging track.

PS. I have seen Rashid pull me off the top of a dune.

Dave. Your prior obligations was good luck for me. Thanks. Besides, the silver lining is that your sun burn from last weeks Marshaling will get a chance to heal.

Congratulations on getting the last slot Mark! As with all of us work sometimes gets in the way of play! But it pays the bills! I will be in New Zealand by the time the trip reports come out so will probably be the most distant follower on the forum! Hope you and the others have a great drive. Don't forget to check your tool kit prior!! I wouldn't like to be sent home over something left behind in the garage!

You are almost correct. I got from Google:

Dubai to New Zealand distance is 5,503.6 km
Dubai to Bratislava distance is 5,506.7 km

caprihorse, I think your Google is newbie and probably took a shortcut...:021: ..... as per my Google, assuming that Dave is in Auckland, the distance from Dubai to Auckland is km 14'194 or miles 8'820 :038:

I think Yoghybear has spotted a "small" calculation error from your side caprihorse! It is very rare, in fact a first, to find a flaw in one of your posts! Having been caught out before making the error of referring to "Legend" being a Toyota and not a Nissan you cursed me by saying I would stay a Newbie forever! I am still waiting for you to reverse that spell!!

However, if you have in fact found a short cut to Auckland my Airline would pay a great deal of money for this information! My little Airbus A380 burns around 12 tons of fuel an hour so would save over 120 Tons of fuel using this new route.....! You could buy all the Nissan's you ever wanted with that fuel saving. I would imagine you could even ship the whole of Iftar Bowl or Super Bowl to Slovakia to have fun in over the weekends. Not sure if all of the Almost4x4 members would be too happy about that though!! :have a nice day:
