Hi JoshG

As a club we don't ask about the passengers, we only check the driver. On other hand, we don't recommend to bring a wife or a husband in the first drive because it might effect your driving.

I would strongly recommend all the CLUB MEMBERS to go through this THREAD to get more familiar with our club style & rules. Secondly, we do most of our newbie and easy drives in Sharjah or Dubai but we don't mention the meeting point in the drive unless it is an OPEN EVENT , otherwise we send more information one day before the drive to the accepted members by Private Message (PM) .. Finally, We do have other channels for our drives' announcements like :

1. E-mail - only for club member drives or events.
2. Our Forum Calender / Trips Thread (like this one)
3. Facebook
4. BBM

Dear Stiphy,

Welcome to the Almost 4x4 family.
You can join this trip by registering in the waiting list, as the main list is already full. (go through this THREAD to get more familiar with our club style & rules)
Secondly, try if someone can accomodate you in his/her car, because your Ford Escape is not capable enough to be taken to the deserts.
You are making a right choice of going for a Pathfinder, but look for the 2003-2006 models (Old Shape). You'll get a good info in various threads, just go through them.
