Hi Anand,
As Roberto (Dlemma) has said, the new generation is quite susceptible to damage. If you are planning to advance into a more challenging terrain, I would suggest you look into getting SKID PLATES installed. Front Engine , Transmission , Fuel Tank . That should help you protect the underneath to an extent. I myself have a 2013 WK2 ( Grand Cherokee ) and have been checking ways to protect the underside.
Another thing I feel is that the front is too low compared to other 4x4 out thhere, so you can hit bottom often if you are not too careful. ( I had this last weekend @ an out of club drive) Look into getting a lift so that you have better ground clearance.

Anand,
My jeep is now a 2013. Warranty got over in November last year. What year is your car? As far as skid plates are concerned, it will not void your warranty even if you put it outside. Just reconfirm with trading enterprises.
I have ordered the following parts for the Jeep from US.
3 Pcs Skid plate - Mopar Original - Thick steel
Bully Dog - Custom Tuner - ( Will void your warranty!!!! )
K&N Intake Stainless Steel - ( As far as I know wont void warranty.)
Cat Back Exhaust System - Mopar Original - ( Should not void warranty as it is original jeep performance part)
Hidden Hitch - Rear Hitch - nothing to do with warranty
WK2 - Leveling Kit - ( to increase front height )
Secondary Modification : ( June/ July )
Front winch mount
front light mount
Bigger/wider tires
The above mentioned parts are on their way and I should be installing them next week.
Just a note. Trading Enterprises charges an arm and a leg for the mopar proformance parts - for eg. the exhaust system with them is 12.500 dhs. I got it + shipping & duty = 6500 Dhs approx.
Same goes for the skid plates.
Regards,
Irfan Khatri

Bullydog is a vehicle ecu tuner. Tunes the brains of your car to push put more HP
Exhaust system again increases HP . And sounds better ;)
Intake does the same. Increase HP
Hidden Hitch is a brand. Hitch reciever so you can add towing / rear winch capabilites. Better than the standard recovery point in the GC.
Since your GC is 2015 not sure if the same parts apply for your model. Have to research . I can give you some sites which I know are genuine and good. PM me.
Why dont you call me as well anytime you have any questions. I would be happy to answer anything about Jeeps. 050 1181585
