hello everybody :)
i just found this club recently online, when i was searching for any ways to go offroading i UAE, i really want to go for a dune bashing and i think this club is the best place, however, im new, like many others and know very little.
i have a 2005 land cruiser gx4 6 cylinder, one friend of mine said 6 cylinders are not that capable :/ but im not sure.
A few links i checked showed i need to buy a good amount of stuff but sadly my budget is tight. basically i would like to get started as soon as possible but dont know how,
any help is appreciated.
thanks!

Dear Almosters family,

Greetings to all.

I am glad to join the family with whom i went out on two trips until now in company of friends and members. I enjoyed the trips and got interested in the activity. The two trips were my first experiences in Desert off-road trips, before those i had been on mountain hard soil & muddy trail trips. Currently i own a jeep liberty, customized for off-road and am getting equipped to join the next trip that i will be able to catch.

It is always a pleasure to meet new members and see the family grow. And i find it the least due gratitude to say thank you to the Marshals, organizers & star members that are taking care off the family on trips & offering high level of organization mixed with the right amount of fun & learning.

See you all on the future trips & activities. Keep it up.

Hello everyone, we recently moved to Dubai from Egypt, where we got into 4x4 driving and camping in the desert. Really looking forward to doing the same here in the UAE with our Prado. See you in the desert!

Lots of new members over the last few weeks. Welcome everyone. @FJ3945 I recommend you change you user name as this is what is used over the radio to chat to one another during our drives. Better omit numbers from your next user name. A real mix of cars amongst recent club members including Jeep, Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Hummer. Off roading in the UAE desert will show some are better than others within the local terrain as time will tell. As the weather is great most members have been off roading most of their free time hence the lack of a bigger welcome from everyone. Also, the club marshals and founders have been busy with overseeing the Gulf News Fun Run this weekend and a trip to Liwa 2016 last week.

Look forward to seeing some of you over the course of the coming year. Keep your eyes open for the next Club Member drive. Attending this will help gain your first Star and allow you to register for the regularly posted Newbie trips.
