I proudly wear my Buc's jersey because 99.9% of the people here don't know how bad we played (last place lol). It's OK our hockey team the Tampa Bay Lightning is kicking ice and making up for it. I was born in the Philippines but grew up in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and have been living in the US since 1992. I enjoy shooting/collecting guns, mudding, riding my ATV, hunting, salt water fishing, camping, kayaking, paintballing and video games...I'm your run of the mill Asian redneck :)

I became a Chevy fan when I purchased my hunting truck....a 1997 Chevy Silverado 5.3L V8 2WD. I plan to turn this into a Pre-Runner when I get back home. Here in Dubai I recently purchased a 2011 Chevy Silverado Reg Cab 4.3L V6 4x4. I've had some basic modifications done to help off-roading i.e. NFab bumper and Rough Country 3.5" lift. I really don't have much left on my wish list but I'm sure that will change the more I go off-roading. I've had limited experience in the sand and I remain eager with learning the proper way to off-road safely. I think I'm a good learner and I strive to follow rules. So I think joining this group is a good move. Besides I know a few of the folks here already. I'm looking forward to meeting more of y'all.

Hello Ry311GP , welcome to the club and your second family . Hope to see you soon on the sand. kindly read all blogs summarized in this thread -http://www.almost4x4.com/vb/showthre...Most-Important

Hi Guys,
My name is Ankit, I used to have a Prado till last year and I have done some offroading in desert. Luckly I din't got stuck as I always did it alone (don't have offroad lovers in my friends group). Now driving a saloon for 10 months only I was totaly fedup. So, recently I have bought a Jeep Wrangler and looking forward with full enthusiasm to go offroad again. I am happy to be accepted in the family of almost 4X4; thanks to Admin. I would love to participate in the upcoming events with such competent group members.
I want to get some suggestion about my Jeep before taking it offroad. So please if someone is free leave a message. Thanks & Regards :-)

Hi everyone,

I have recently joined Almost4x4 after reading 100's of the posts on this forum. It certainly looks like the most awesome club in the UAE. I am looking forward to sharing in the fun in the sand with everyone.

I am busy getting all the required equipment and hope to join a club member event soon, to kick off, which I hope will be the start of many eventful years to come.
