Thanks for the Contact!! Went and took a look......The plate seemed to be too thin, they offered for 600 as you said but i dint buy it as yet. Thought of trying to check the cost of one if i got it fabricated using a thicker plate....

OK, A update regarding the Front Metal Bumper, Silvester took a look on Friday and i compared it to his bumper.....The sheet metal used is thinner compared to his, But that is not such a problem. The problem is the way they designed it to accomedate a winch inside the bumper makes it very long in front and compromises on the clearance......Had to spend another 500 on the brackets and fitting......Now will have to cut and modify it to make it shorter!!!! will have to spend some more........So not that good a bargain after all!!!!!!!!!

can't you just go to the same shop and ask them to exchange it with another one without the winch option?
Offer them 100-200 on top of it.

I spoke to them.....All the bumpers are similar in design!!! So he said he would try and discount something from my modification bill!!!
But still dissapointed......Whoever is planning to buy these should double check before they decide!!!!

you're right.
It's better to do some research/ask around before pushing the button and buying something.

Camel, you are in a learning curve and progressing well, we'll see soon how you'll go ahead.
My metallic bumper didn't come just like from the sky. Before I looked around and I saw that Sharjah police is driving with nice looking bull bar on Pathfinders, and I was thinking that they might use it for pushing bad guys out of the road, so it must be strong.
So I purchased and installed the same one on my front (800 Dhs). It was just nice looking, as I said before. After few trips to desert and my high Newbie level, bull bar started not to look so nice, bent, with lost teeth down, it looked like I had all the time frontal accident. I think I kept it around 8 month, yes so long, before I invested lots of money int the normal bumper, which lasts now for more than 4 years, with very few revamps from time to time.
