Hi all,
im a second timer to Dubai. Have been 4x4ing since I could see over the steering wheel. Just back in Dubai and getting setup. Just bought an xterra, getting it on Sunday. Was in Oz for last 3 years driving a Jeep JK all over the place. Decided to try out the xterra this time. Before that, Mitsubishi L200, land rovers, hilux's and MFT20 (not recommended). Looking forward to a few trips and meeting some new people with the same interests, have to kit out the xterra first though. Been stuck in sand a few times, not fun without the right gear! Hope to meet up with some of you over 2015, and happy new year to ye all.

Hi Almoster's :have a nice day: just came across this thread. My name is Rohan and I'm new to off-roading. Own a 2014 Xterra S. Looking forward to driving with you guys. I went through the equipment list. Time to go shopping :have a nice day:. I was given free insurance through the Nissan :Psmiley:stealership(kidding) for the 1st year. Its Amman insurance. I'd like to know how i could get off-road insurance as the insurance company doesn't provide it. See you soon people

My insurance is with RSA and they offer off-road insurance in the UAE and Oman. This doesn't include recovery though ;-)
For that you'll need to contact a company like IATC. I'm sure others will give you some more options if you ask around here.
