Hello everyone,
I was looking at the grading systems and noticed that there is a minimum required equipment and emergency equipment for anyone to join any drives. I have some of these equipment but not all. Does anyone know a one-stop-shop for me to be able to pick up these equipment for a reasonable price?
Thanks in advance
Taha

No equipment's required for first trip with the club ( Club Member level trip ) . You are lucky that we are conducting one this week end .

Merhaba Taha,
The one (very expensive) stop shop would be ACE except Flag Pole (who knows where can you find it, I am using glass vacuum + fishing rod). But I would buy:
- rope&shackle&hook and wood piece for jack from ACE,
- compressor, shovel, walkie talkie and jack from Dragon Mart (check forum for compressor and walkie talkie)
- Fire Ext from petrol stations...
Hope to see you soon in sand...

Hosgeldin Taha :)
Addtional to the info by muhtar; as it is hinted in the name of this weekends CM drive, you need a deflator with gauge and/or something to deflate your tyre and a pressure gauge, for sure an accurate one. Probably these are the first things you will need and use.
See you on sand...

Please contact Mr. Don (0566083433) at almost4x4 workshop, they have approved items by the club:
- Rated (approved) snatch strap
- 2 Rated Shackles
- Rated Hook
- Car jack
- Base plate for jacking vehicle
Their prices are reasonable as they are doing this service as help to new club member who want to buy the tools.
Please don't hesitate to contact the marshals for assistance if needed.
Regards.

Hi all, I'm Sreejith, Indian, 37 years old, passionate about offroading (had a Mahindra jeep back in India), but total newbie to desert driving. Working as an HR Manager at a drilling company in Dubai. Bought a new Patrol Safari, a dream I've been holding onto for 6 years. Ready to start visiting the arabian deserts with you all.
