Hello Toleg, Fahad, and Steve. Welcome to the best off-road club in the UAE. Our marshall's are well equipped with knowledge and very accommodating to extend their wisdom. They know what to do and you are in safe hands.

See you at the sands.

Cheers!

Thanks!!!

I have some of road experience (I did a training session, out Hatta, which covered vehicle recovery, digging, gear selection etc) and have most of the equipment … 4x4 (obviously), ropes, tire gauge, compressor, shovel, tool kit etc.

Are there any drives coming up which I can take part in?

Steve

Hi, I am Carmen, hence the Tutan nickname..... Not new to Off road driving but fully appreciate the need to start from scratch when joining a new group. 2007 to 2010 i drove a Jeep Cherokee in Abu dhabi with the a couple of clubs down there, and regular drives out with friends on family trips but then i moved to Kuwait where i thought surely i will be able to drive in the desert, but no its mainly flat and heavily populated with unexploded ordnance, at least that was what i was told and i wasn't that stupid to try it out. However i bought a Nissan Xterra with the hope i would return one day to Dubai.... and here i am, 4 years later.... Nissan Xterra and I ready for my return to the Sands of the UAE.
Looking forward to coming out on a trip with you all soon, unfortunately i am away next weekend so will miss the Grand Iftar.... but I have been out on a couple of trips already in UAE and i understand my car's capabilities so I am ready to roll and will keep an eye out for the next trip with you...

Whilst i am experienced, all be it a bit rusty, i do fully appreciate and understand the importance of everyone starting from scratch and i especially like this approach, as it is very important both for me to understand how your club trips work and for you to ensure that my sand driving meets your clubs expectation.
