Hello everyone

At the start point I was looking at the fence and remembering my first attempt to jump the fence in the dark but this story for another time!!!


@Daggerfall and were saving ourselves for the next weekend drive with advance level so decided to take it easy and we had couple of members who needed assessment, so the rule thumb was " Go Easy " . It's really difficult for the leading car to hold back while you are in this area and ontop of that you see @optimus teasing us with his moves circling around us . @Daggerfall had nerves of steel and kept the level safe but enjoyable at the same time. We kept driving till the sunset and don't know how the time fly.

I don't know for how long we will still have this piece of chain dunes before it claimed by government So let us enjoy it to the max .

Kill Shot!!

This was my first intermediate drive and I was in Daggerfalls convoy. He made sure we are getting the hang of the level and driving style.

It was a great learning experience, Thankyou founder @alshamsi_m and Marshals @Rashidjass , @Daggerfall , @Mabubaker , @presa for the wonderful drive.

Looking for more in future.

Hi Everyone!

Last week marked the end and the beginning of a new drive series at Old Sweihan. The Petrol Heads series, which I used to lead, is now closed as most of the members have now graduated to the advanced level. This drive was designed for intermediate drivers, majority of whom having advanced, it is time for something new. "Kill Shots", the new drive series for intermediate drivers in Old Sweihan.

Last weekend was my first time leading the Kill Shot group, many of whom are recently upgraded. This was my first time leading them in an intermediate drive so i wasn’t sure what to expect from them in terms of their skill set, had to be careful. Making sure the drive is safe, I asked advance to take the 2nd lead pos. our senior advance @Mahmoodyasin volunteered for the for the job . The convoy order was formed in a way, so the more experienced intermediates stayed at the back of the convoy, while the newer ones were placed at front.

During the briefing, I stressed upon safety and fun. The drive was meant to be adrenaline-packed, my priority was to take everyone back to black top in one piece. The first part of the drive was bit rough with a bit a vegetation around, the middle part started to gain some momentum however not everyone played it safe. We had one “near miss” incident , which required immediate attention. I had to put the convoy on standby mode, called for a briefing, and alerted everyone to keep their eyes open and ears on the radio.

After that, the rest of the drive was fantastic. The convoy moved smoothly, and the group performed well with some 2nd tries which are part of the game. I really enjoyed leading them. But then i realized the convoy is getting comfortable, so decided to activate "boost mode" to push them even harder. In my excitement i got a bit carried away & lost the entire convoy & found myself driving alone. . Despite the early hiccups, the experience was great, .

Overall, the first "kill shot" drive was a success.
Looking forward leading them in more such drives in the future.

Our recent off-roading expedition - KILL SHOT - was nothing short of exhilarating. The sun was blazing in the ski as we gathered at the starting point; the excitement was palpable, with everyone eager to tackle the challenging terrain ahead.

The drive commenced with a rush, engines roaring and tyres gripping the soft sand as we navigated the undulating landscape. The thrill of climbing steep dunes and the anticipation of what lay beyond each crest kept our adrenaline pumping. One moment you were in a calm lull, and the next, the sheer incline of a dune would take your breath away, especially when the setting sun blocked your view of the path ahead.

Our trusty Marshal @optimus, supported by
@Scorpio and our faithful Advanced Members @David and @Carlos were key in ensuring we tackled the challenges safely and efficiently. Following their instructions was crucial as we maneuvered through the shifting sands. Each ascent and descent required precision, and the camaraderie among the group was evident as we cheered each other on and shared tips on navigating the tricky spots.

As the drive ended and we were on the exit track, the excitement was tinged with the set back as I found myself lf spinning a shredded Cooper Tyre. However, the spirit of our group shone through as fellow off-roaders rallied to help swiftly changing the tyre, laughter and other Tyre stories.

As the stars hung out as a curtain, I reflected on the day: the thrill of the ride, the lessons learned, the breathtaking dunes, my fellow Inters, and the camaraderie, and the juicy watermelon made it an unforgettable experience.
