What a drive
...this is my best trip ever and the smile still on my face till now  and my passenger still feel dizzy till now :020: (but he love it)
The camp was wonderful with amazing weather and chit chat with all Almosters
Powder sand, high dunes, huge bowls, steep drops, side sloping, sharp crests, amazing company, rally drive, high speed, version sand.....you name it and Bu Salem lead is the cheery on top of all that, and you can imagine the amount of adrenaline which run through our veins.
We were 7 cars (2 marshals, three advance and two intermediate drivers) and the day started with some technical dunes then we reached to the sabkha where we were looking around to avoid speed cams as we were driving 140+ km/h...woooow I love it
then the real fun started with tons of huge bowls and high dunes and all wishes were came true...Suhil had to leave us after few bowels due to mechanical problem in his car (sorry for that brother).
After 6 hours driving we had to split into two groups; one to go back and support the newbies convoy and the other continue with Mazzaj lead to reach Al Wagen around 3:30 pm with 120 km and 7 hours nonstop driving
all in all was very successful drive in all aspects with few stucks and one pop-out, we passed through amazing area before we reach to Al Wagen but we could not play around as Mezzaj was driving with two wheel drive due to mechanical issue, I think this area deserved to be visited again and again.
I drove back 230 km to Abu Dhabi with smile on my face.... thank you marshals for arranging such a great trip, thank you bu Salem for the amazing lead, thank you Mazzaj for the sweep then the lead and thank you for the rest of my friends for the great company.
looking forward for more Furious drives...
I will try to edit the videos which I recorded and post them as soon as possible.
Nice video Jeremy. Green Giant looking good! Some of those crests are super soft and challenging. I obviously missed another great drive. Lets hope I get out to play soon. Thanks for posting the video.
Thanks Dave - yes, an amazing drive you really did miss out! Very challenging and technical - you need to get your name down for the next trip there. You around for any fridays soon?

Work has being doing a great job in keeping me away from Dubai most weekends the last few months! I do have a string of weekends ahead where I am at home for a change so hopefully I will manage to join at least a couple of drives. Certainly missing a regular drive with yourself and the other more experienced Newbies. From your video its obvious the regular drives are really improving your off road skills. If I don't get out soon I'll be left behind as I am sure an upgrade to the next level must be on the cards soon for a few! Also with summer fast approaching I wonder do the regular weekend events stop for a few months? Knowing Almost4x4 and its marshals probably not! Anyhow, fingers crossed I shall see Green Giant and co sometime soon.
