Guys Is’t recommended to replace the walkie talkie antenna with tall one

Is it making any difference in receiving and sending distance and clearance

It could help , but you should matchup with your radio to support ( UHF , VHF ) and they are few.
Good luck 👍

Guys I have the long antenna, but my radio is 8W, and is better than the 5W with small one.

But a solution that I saw with thiagomachado is getting a external antenna, fixing it outside the car with a magnet and taking out on every drive!

This is on my list for my next Dragon Mart visit :)

I used ti have this set up on the truck the problem is that the magnet is not very secure and during bumpy rides it moves (some times it even falls off. Furthermore because the car is covered with sand when it moves it scratches the car

As the feed back from members who has done the external antenna:-
1. Its an extra effort ( fix and remove every time you go off road , if you fix it permanently you may face issues with authorities.
2. With the magnet you may scratch the paint.
3. The benefits earned doesn't really justify the hustle .
What goes around , comes around .
