Dear Bomolin


If you want my advice ... keep your Viking and don't sell it . I have a winch since 2008.

1. 70 to 80% scenarios can be solved by rated snatch rope.
2. 95 to 97% scenarios can be solved by Viking rope.
3. 3 to 5% scenarios you really need a winch.

Using rope or strap has the following advantages :

1. Faster execution for the situation.
2 Cheaper if it got damaged.
3. Your winch is going to live longer.

Finally, if you depend on winch in recovery you are going to lose the other rescue skills. After all, the choice is yours.

Very true, been carry Viking, regular ARB snach and Winch, each to be used in different situations.

Currently downgrading the jeep for a quick sold, therefore accessories also need a new home
