After a long wait, got the 1st chance to be part of the event. Luckily got myself registered for the morning drive (7:30 am) with 10 other club members.
We started from the meeting point exactly by 7:30 followed by 25-30 minutes of introduction on the rules and safety procedures to be followed.
The drive started with easy to steep dunes around the fossil rocks and back on the tarmac.
Then had the tool inspection for the grade change which was again exciting.
Unfortunately could not make it :oh noes:, did not have the base plate neither the recommended jack also instead of a snatch rope came with an 8ton cargo rope.
Thanks a lot to the Founder and the Marshals for organizing the trip.
Bu Salem (Rescue)
Yoghybear (Leader)
Desert Lizard (Sweeper)
Take Care all the members and hopefully meet you soon.

Good morning everyone
After a long time, here we come back with a new batch of club members. Another group of family members that you don't know them well yet. A group you have to work for and give from your time and effort. But hey, it is worth it when you see the smile on their faces at the end of the drive.
We had a great start for our season 2014/2015 with such a nice punch of adventurers. I am sure that you are going to enjoy more in our family of offroading & other social activities.
Till then, have a great time and see you soon in the sand

Hello everyone,
That was looong awaiting Club Member trip and certainly adventurous for those who are new to the sand! Though I have been as a passenger for few times before, but to drive and sit next to the driver are ABSOLUTELY DIFFERENT things! First, that is VERY exciting (even though I do realize that the real fun didn't start yet)! Second, time of the drive flies SOOO fast! As a passenger you might get tired, but as a driver you get surprised "seriously, is that already the end of the trip?"..
The introduction of the drive was very knowlegable, we were shown examples what to expect in the sand (and as it appeared marshals also like to play with small toys:playful:... two tiny orange fj's demonstrated well how we can be trapped!)
And the drive! Full support and encouragement! That's why we call it family! So properly organised! And since I was the third car, I could see how carefully Youghybear was choosing the route, immediately estimating the situation in front of him, and even changing the plan if there was something that might be too difficult at this level.. And repeating the same exercises again and again.. Repetition develops skills! Really great job!:045:
Special thank to Desert Lizard, who helped me with deflating:whistle: in the beginning of the drive!
almost4x4 - the best time, the best people (no sugarcoating, that's true)!!! So all you need is: a 4x4vehicle, and you gain -->
(1) adventurous hobby, (2)second family, (3)GREAT time!
No doubts, all is worth it! ----> and somebody is very happy as they have got their first star:ORLY:
See you sooon again! We will keep going!
Cheers,
elena
