Just a matter of illustration, I'll never forget our friend's dig in a flat area (turbo charged) with STT...
Hi Big Brother, :038:
Haven’t seen you & talk to you for very loooooong time.
Hope you always doing well.:cheerful:
I have some doubts and need your kind & wealthy information to clear them please.…
Mods = Digs ??????:032:???? I can’t see any relation over here…
It is not always necessary to modify a JEEP to win a race or to reach a top of the dunes in less seconds.
Some times (in my case).. it’s a matter of LOOK more than anything else.. The NEW JEEP 3.6 pentastar engine doesn’t require any modification. This has been proved by a friend of mine with his stock WRANGLER..
In addition to what you mentioned earlier (Larger tires, Arms, Steel Bumpers, Tire Carriers, lift kits,…) and lots more to name.. They just kill the horses in the engine due to aerodynamic, additional weight, larger tire rotation…..
I (personally) believe that all our ALMOST4X4 family Marshals are awesome and I trust their amazing tracks including you Chief. If you have a look at their 4X4s you’ll find them all modified with minimum of 10K aed. Even your car is modified with bumper+ Wheels & tires. By reaching here.. I just wanted to clear the point I started with.
Thanks a lot brother (as I always call you from DAY#1) for your concerns on the same.
See you soooon In Sha ALLAH:060:

Jeep in the pic is turbo charged with STT tyres. And this combination caused to dig in with excessive power.bu-hamdan;28233 wrote: I have some doubts and need your kind & wealthy information to clear them please.…

OK, so are you telling me that I (newbie) can buy a stock Wrangler, modify nothing and still be able to go on one of your events and have fun?!caprihorse;23624 wrote:Last week, 8 March 2013, we had a private trip, or 'Test of Skills (TOS)' between Newbies and Marshals.
Many Newbies, coming to our Club think that they can only drive with us, if they vehicles are 'properly' modified. From the following table, you can see the notes from this single drive, and set the criteria for yourself, what do you want to add to your own skills or to your toy features.

Hi israel.....first of all welcome to the family!israelsilva1;32540 wrote:OK, so are you telling me that I (newbie) can buy a stock Wrangler, modify nothing and still be able to go on one of your events and have fun?!

secondly, I am happy to inform you that I (newbie also) have a stock Wrangler (only mod is painting the rims black but that's not really a mod) and have great fun in the desert and even more fun in a convoy with ALMOST4x4 ;)
believe me, mods are not necessary for off-roading or enjoying the sand and desert and you'll find a lot of people who are proof of that (i am one among them)
hope to see you soon :D

That's brilliant mate, thanks a lot.
Will bare that when buying. It's really a myth that I believed in :) (only super modified 4x4 are capable of desert off roading)

Definitely. You can drive anytime with us with your stock off-road car. The majority of the guys are modifying unnecessary, just to impress people (girls) on the road. There was an interesting discussion here - http://www.almost4x4.com/vb/showthread. ... ad-vehicle. Have a look and think, before loosing money.israelsilva1;32540 wrote:OK, so are you telling me that I (newbie) can buy a stock Wrangler, modify nothing and still be able to go on one of your events and have fun?!
