Dear All,

The camping season is official open. One of the topics for discussion that regularly comes up is, what and how to cook in the desert, what to prepare from home and what to bring .
The idea is always travel light and manage to get a good meal to sustain you for the period of time that you will be outdoors.

The aim of this thread is to develop a selection of foods (make ahead, instant, or cook while camping) that we all can visit and get ideas so we are all better prepared.

Please fill free to add your recommendations and how is done.

e) cover the convoys with a third 20x20 aluminum foil
f) make a flat bed of charcoal and place it on top
