Hello All,

Interesting in hearing other people experiences. I recently bought a hi-lift jack for my JK as I am lifted pretty high. I got the strap that attaches to the wheel for it. That works fine for a pop-out but I realized that to change a tire I would need hard-points that do not exist. My solution was to buy tube rock sliders that attach directly to the chassis. I can lift all four tires from them.

Curious to know if other have found different or better solutions to this problem.

Hi sacha. A piece of solid hard wood about 3-4" thick would work when using the medium sized 2 ton hydraulic jack when you need to change tires on tarmac ....

I also have the hi lift jack on my jk but solely for aesthetic purposes only as i find the wood and hydraulic jack combo easier, safer and faster to use ...

Cheers
