GPS [hdddºmm.mmm’]: N24 59.860 E55 39.710 Google Maps: 24.997667, 55.661833 We will drive towards our camping site at Pink Rock, with two convoys, one for Newbies and one for Intermediate drivers. As first will start Intermediate convoy, approaching high dunes on the route to the camp site. Newbies will follow with their own convoy, to learn different types of dunes. All the convoys will be accompanied by our experienced Marshals. The track is proven to be interesting, starting with low dunes, but with also surprising descents, driving higher and exercise dunes around Pink Rock. Partially the drive will be in the darkness, where you can watch amazing desert sunset. After arrival to the camp site, we will start our BBQ and have some chatting and activities, like rope pulling or similar. Pls bring your own camping and BBQ stuff and plenty of food. Of course don’t forget to bring your cameras with charged batteries; we love your pictures and videos. Next day, in the morning we will drive again with two convoys and finish at Al Badayer shops. Usual mandatory gear applies. Those who have radios and GPS, please bring them along. Carry enough petrol, water and refreshments.
