Today many people believe that anything published on Internet is free. This is not true and users break the lines unintentionally to copy and paste the written text, graphics and picture material they found, in their own articles as their own work and research.
To publish the work of others, without the knowledge of the owner, is the illegal practice. The ethical way would be to ask the author for the permission to use his text or work to share with other users and make the reference to the original article. It is not that difficult to drop an email to the original author and ask for his permission.

This is an important point raised by Caprihorse, copyright should be respected and we all should be aware of the law. I think if one must re-produce an article here, at the very least he should give credit to the author..mentioning at the start that the article's been published by _____(author) in______(website/publication). If possible a URL link to the original article could be provided.
Like Caprihorse says it doesn't take much to send an email to the author asking permission to use his/her work for sharing here on the forum (and in most cases they will consent). If that's not possible the least one could do is inform the author that he is sharing the article here on this forum (provide a link to the thread in the email) adding further that the post would be removed immediately if the author objected.
As we say drive safe, publish safe. It's not nice to be charged for copyright abuse!
